Many movie watchers know about the James Bond series.
The James Bond series focuses on a fictional British Secret Service agent created in 1953 by writer Ian Fleming.
James Bond have used many vehicles, of which most of them are Aston Martins.
The bespoke Aston Martin DB10 created for Daniel Craig’s latest outing, as the world’s most famous secret agent, is everything we’ve come to expect from the franchise. It’s wickedly fast, sexy, and well beyond the reach of anyone without a double-0 to their name.
The filming of Spectre, the 24th Bond film and the fourth to star Craig, involved the destruction of some £24 million (about $38 million) worth of cars in total, including seven DB10s — a new record for a 007 production.
For over 50 years, Aston Martin has been the sports car of choice for James Bond.
Produced exclusively for Spectre, DB10 was designed, engineered and hand crafted by a dedicated team at Aston Martin’s Gaydon Headquarters in the UK.
10 DB10 cars were manufactured in total – eight have been used for Spectre filming, along with two show cars.
Including Spectre Aston Martin has featured in 12 of the 24 James Bond films.
Aston Martin celebrated the 50th anniversary of its relationship with James Bond on 17 September 2014 – 50 years on from the world premiere of Goldfinger starring Sean Connery as 007 and the iconic DB5 below:
