As the war against Boko Haram insurgency continues, nine notorious commanders of the dreaded Boko Haram sect have been arrested.
They were reportedly arrested around Camp Cameroon.
Their photos were shared by Muazu Alhaji Misiya, the Civilian JTF leader.

According to him, this was a sign that Boko Haram was coming to end.
Those arrested are:
1. Mala Abba Shuwaye Bama
2. Baana Ya izaye Bama
3. Ali Omaga Bama
4. Bashir Bagio Nguro Soye
5. Zamfara Adam Bama
6. Bakari Bakda Banki
7. Alh. Chaura Banki
8. Alh.. Bukar Bama
9. Abuwar Ba moduye Tasha Bulltuwa Bama

A week ago, two prominent politicians and a traditional ruler affiliated with the Boko Haram group were arrested during a military raid in Borno state.
Meanwhile, the United Nations under-secretary-general for Political Affairs, Jeffrey Feltman, has revealed that Boko Haram is broke as they are now under serious military pressure.
