On Wednesday, February 8, the former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode was at the Federal High Court in Lagos for hearing on a criminal charge leveled against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
While the former minister appearance in court was not unusual, his dressing was surprising to many Nigerians.
Fani-Kayode was dressed in a sky blue shirt, a Chinos trousers.
He also adorned his dressing with a White Jewish tallit marked with dark blue stripes.
This particular dressing has been worn by the president of the United States of America Donald Trump - of whom Fani-Kayode is an ardent supporter.
Also, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has also worn the Jewish tallit while appearing in court on different occasions.
