A Nigerian man and Twitter user named Mohammad Deedee has pleaded with former president Goodluck Jonathan for forgiveness after the naira crashed to a historic low of N500 to the dollar earlier this week.
Goodluck Jonathan has reportedly told Senator Ben Bruce that he has forgiven Mohammad for speaking against his administration years ago.
In a tweet to Senator Ben Murray-Bruce representing Bayelsa central, Mohammad called on Ben Bruce to plead with Goodluck Jonathan on his behalf for forgiveness after speaking against him in 2014 when he was president and dollar was just N180 to the dollar and N280 to the pound.

Not done, Mohammad hailed Goodluck Jonathan as a hero for keeping the economy is such a good shape compared to the present administration.

On his part, Senator Ben Bruce said he had contacted ex-president Jonathan who reportedly replied, saying Mohammad was forgiven and that besides, he never bore a grudge against him.

Meanwhile, the Presidency has reacted to the planned nationwide protest against the Buhari-led APC government scheduled to hold on the 6th of February 2017 and spearheaded by pop star and African Queen crooner, Innocent Idibia, popularly called, 2face.
The Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Electronic Media, Lauretta Onochie has, Tuesday, January 31, called on the pop star to come on national TV to state his “beef with Pres. Buhari” instead of going on national newspapers to make his grievances known.
