Tricycle is popularly called Keke Marwa in Nigeria. It was introduced in Lagos by the then Military Governor of Lagos state, Colonel Buba Marwa. It was introduced as a poverty alliviation scheme as a means of transportation. It was named after him
An ingenious Engineer Godspower Iteku from Ughelli South L.G.A has converted a tricycle (keke) to an aeroplane.
