Michelle Obama in Saudi Arabia
President Trump and his wife arrived in the scorching heat of the Arabian desert of Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
The start of Mr. Trump’s first trip abroad since becoming president was intended to be a blunt rejection of President Barack Obama’s vision for the region.
This article is not about the diplomacy in the region but to remind President Trump’s criticism of the former first lady Michelle Obama’s inability to wear head scarve when visiting Saudi Arabia.
Just two years after Donald Trump criticized then First Lady Michelle Obama for not wearing a head scarf to Saudi Arabia, his wife and daughter chose to do the exact same thing on their Saturday visit. Of course, no tweets from the Donald about that.
But he tweeted thus:
“Many people are saying it was wonderful that Mrs. Obama refused to wear a scarf in Saudi Arabia, but they were insulted.We have enuf enemies
