Khanyi Mbau, a South Africa OAP defended her thirst for cosmetics (pic)

Mbau (before & after)
Khanyi Mbau has revealed that her love for cosmetic surgery comes from a place of wanting perfection and also compared her journey to Caitlyn Jenner’s transformation.
During an interview on Khanyi once again spoke out about her love for cosmetic procedures and skin lightening which has become a major talking point over the years.
She explained that it all started with her mental image of perfection.
“So how I see myself is the most beautiful woman – flawless, filtered every single day of my life. Once we start seeing ourselves as creators of our time, we will reach our goal because you’re not looking at someone for inspiration, you’re remembering who you are through the God that created you,” she said.
Khanyi added that she is bringing to life her own “mental image of Khanyi,” explaining that everything in life first happens spritually.
She also used Caitlyn Jenner’s (previously known as Bruce Jenner) transformation into a woman  as an example to describe her own journey.
“And that is the same example with Caitlyn Jenner in her mind she was always a woman, so she went and created that,” she said.
Khanyisile Mbau.
Khanyi Mbau became the talk of social media after she shared a picture on Instagram.
Mbau was dressed up and made up as usual, but that was not what sent her followers into a frenzy this time. It was her very pale skin that drew attention.
She was accused of bleaching her skin, ridiculed and labelled a sell out doing a disservice to young girls who look up to her for inspiration.
“In Khanyi Mbau I see an aging celebrity desperately clinging to her fading looks. Celebrities never want to age gracefully,” tweeted @PhiXtothe.
Another fan @shanduVanN questioned Mbau’s acceptance of the white supremacy narrative.
“Yes it’s her money, but Khanyi Mbau is a public figure, a standard for beauty. The example she is setting proves white supremacy and the Verwoerd narrative.”
Nevertheless she’ s on top of her game winning various awards as an actress, a radio and Tv personality.
In October 2016, the Johannesburg Film Festival named their top 10 South African Actresses in film in a non chronological order and Mbau happened to be one of them.
