Traditional leader applauds Katsina govt over developmental interventions

The Fagachin Katsina and District Head of Matazu Local government area of Katsina State, Alhaji Iro Ibrahim has applauded the Katsina State government for it developmental interventions and stride in it area.

Ibrahim made this known while celebrating his 25th Silver jubilee anniversary as the Fagachin Katsina at the weekend.

He itemizied such developmental interventions to include, provision of road infrastructure, construction of schools and distribution of fertilizers to farmers in the area.

The District Head urged indigenes of the area to reciprocate the gesture and promote developmental interventions in the area to make the area a reference point in the country.

Ibrahim continued when he commended the government for adequate provision of fertilizer to his people saying people in the area are subsistent farmers who need fertilizers to grow their crops.

He also commended the government under the leadership of Governor Aminu Bello Masari for the ongoing road construction from Sayaya to Mazoji linking to Tashar Icce describing it as a welcome development to open up the area.

The Fagachin Katsina also hailed the leadership style of the Emir of Katsina, Dr. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman describing it as that with transparency, honesty and just.

Other activities marking the 25 years anniversary includes turbaning ceremony of 19 new traditional title holders to steer affairs of people of Matazu local government area.

Among personalities turbaned include, member representing Musawa/Matazu constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Ibrahim D. Murtala as Chigarin Matazu, Dean, Faculty of Law, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University, Professor Abubakar Sani Ridwan as Zannan Matazu and Professor Mamman Musa Kogari as Wazirin Ayyuka.

Ibrahim Iro Matazu as Dan Amar, Usman Dan Malan – Danmalikin Matazu, Aminu Mamman Nagarhi – Ajiyan Matazu, Muazu Yusuf Amah – Walin Matazu, Lawal Sani Matazu – Sa’in Matazu and Badaru Hashim Matazu – Magayakin Matazu.

Others include Dr. Usman Musa – Mayanan Matazu, Yahuza Tukur Gwarjo – Khadimul Islam, Hamish Mamuda Sayaya – Galadiman Wiki and Abdulhamid Sani Matazu – Malumman Matazu to mention but a few.
