UPDATE 4/30/19 11:30pm EST: Jenelle Evans in a series of three tweets late Thursday evening wrote “Everyone just please leave me be right now, I don’t need anymore f**king drama!” followed by “I didn’t ‘run away from home.’ Haven’t been home all day and been busy taking care of my kids and myself. Had no idea any visitors came by my house… still don’t know what happened at my house. Please stop making up rumors. I haven’t spoken to any media and still not. Bye.” Finally she concluded “Until I speak about a situation don’t assume a damn thing about me. #Truth”
Things are getting pretty scary for Jenelle Evans. She’s reportedly fled her home with two of her children after husband David Eason allegedly shot her pet dog. An unidentified male made a frantic 911 call on April 30 to report that David had killed the animal. Columbus County, NC Sheriff’s responded to the couple’s rural property, known as “The Land.” “A call was made today, and it was relayed that the woman’s husband had killed her dog,” the Sheriff’s Department told Radar Online. “The Sheriff is out there right now investigating and there will be an incident report filed later.”
The dog that was killed was Jenelle’s beloved French bulldog Nugget, according to an Us Weekly insider. “David shot the dog. It snapped at [their 2-year-old daughter] Ensley and that prompted David’s decision to shoot it,” a source told the publication. Fortunately the Teen Mom 2 star’s eldest son Jace, 9, was on a cruise with Jenelle’s mom Barb, but her four-year-old son Kaiser Griffith was with the MTV star at the time the dog was shot according to the magazine. After the incident, a terrified Jenelle reportedly then fled the family home with Kaiser and Ensley, only to return for a short time to pack a bag. Jenelle “doesn’t feel safe with David” in the wake of the pet killing and “is scared and terrified” of her husband,” according to the insider.
On the afternoon the 911 call was made about the alleged dog killing, Jenelle took to her Facebook to tell fans that she “is feeling devastated.” She revealed on the latest Teen Mom 2 on Apr. 29 that David’s 2018 firing from the show over transphobic tweets had put a strain on their marriage. She even wanted to take a mother-son bonding trip with Jace to Kentucky, but David said no way unless he was able to go along as well since he had family he wanted to visit there. That meant it would be impossible for MTV to film the trip with him present.

After the episode — and a month of Jenelle putting out cryptic social media posts about the state of their marriage — the couple unfollowed each other on social media. The 27-year-old then posted a message to her Facebook that read “Better days are coming.” The whole season has been a nightmare for MTV to film since they can’t go to Jenelle’s home because David is there, so she’s taken several needless trips out of town to tape her segments or just drives around having discussions with her mom Barb for plot lines
