President Buhari is expected to announce the next phase of ease of lockdown on Monday (today).
The National Coordinator of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Sani Aliyu, made this known when he appeared on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics on Sunday.
Buhari had on May 4, relaxed the lockdown, and imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew, ban on inter-state movements, compulsory use of face masks, amongst others across the country for two weeks.
Also, civil servants on Grade Level 14 and above were asked to resume work three times a week.
“We have given our recommendations to the President and we will wait for his decision on the next phase of ease of lockdown tomorrow,” Aliyu said on Sunday.
