Armed robbers have reportedly attacked the only commercial bank in Ido-Ani in Ose Local government area of Ondo state.
The robbery lasted for 2 hours by 11 gunmen.
Sources said security agents including soldiers at Isua-Akoko checkpoint and policemen in the vicinity were alerted and they all swung into action.
Reports said 7 people, including bankers and customers have been killed by the hoodlums.
One of the suspects was reported to have been arrested by the army.
The police spokesman, Femi Joseph, when contacted responded and promised to give further details later.
